Simon Cohen, famed vocal engineer from Sydney’s Studios 301 and one of the trainers in our Mixing and Mastering course module – and now he has been nominated for a Grammy award!
For his work with Justin Bieber on his track Love Yourself, Simon has been tipped by the industry to take out the award. Justin Bieber has likewise been nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year for his LP Purpose.
Quoted by TMN when they interviewed Simon: “He is one the hardest working guys in studio I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He’s constantly trying to beat the last vocal take to make sure everything is perfect and the melody is best possible iteration of the idea.”
