DRUMBEAT LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE

We take drumbeats submitted to us, and develop them – showing the production and sound design process, and sharing the projects for you to download.

  • If you’re new to making music, this will get you setup to make your first beats in Ableton Live.
  • If you’re an experienced producer, pick up some tips from the videos and the project downloads.

Everyone is welcome to send in a beat (see the instructions below)

HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIRST BEAT AND SEND IT TO US:

Step 1. Create a MIDI beat using Learning Music Ableton Playground

Note: If you’re completely new to making music, start here – it will step you through the process of making a beat. And at the end, it will take you to the “playground” where you can make your own beat and send it to us.

Step 2. Use the “Export to Live” button

Step 3. Send us your exported file via the form below

Note: Our trainers will produce the beats we receive – but we might not be able to get to all of them. You can try any of the techniques shared in the videos using the free 90 Day Trial of Ableton Live.
