Elizabeth Rose had been on our radar for a while – some heavy rotation on FBi Radio, popping up on some pretty major live bills, and often cropping up in conversation with other producers. We knew she was one to watch but it was at our Mixing and Mastering course that it hit us… Mastering Engineer, Sameer Sen Gupta was wrapping up the last session of the course when we asked him what he’s been working on lately. He played us the as-yet unreleased EP that he’s been mixing with Elizabeth Rose – cranked it up loud on the Duntech Sovereign speakers – and we were all simply mind-blown.
That’s when we knew we had to pick up the phone and organise this interview…
