Eric J Dubowsky is a man of many talents, though in recent times he’s probably best known for his work in mixing records for Chet Faker (for which he received the 2014 ARIA award for “Engineer of the Year”), Flume and Flight Facilities. Beyond mixing, Eric is also a record producer, engineer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a guest lecturer in Liveschool’s Mixing & Mastering course on occasion.
We were lucky enough to have Eric drop by our INPUT conference in March earlier this year where he took to the stage in a Q&A session with Liveschool’s Yama Indra, opening up on mixing off against Tony Maserati, developing relations with Future Classic, favourite plugins of the moment and much more – check out both Part 1 and Part 2 from Eric’s talk below.

This presentation was filmed at INPUT – a quarterly producer’s conference for up-coming music makers to learn directly from and also engage with, a guest lineup of world renowned music producers and influential players in the music industry.
