It’s been a busy couple of weeks over here at Liveschool HQ, and its been even busier for our trainer roster, who have been hard at work not only with teaching a bunch of classes, but releasing, remixing, and touring with their respective projects. We thought we’d give you guys a little run down of what some of our trainers have been up to, and share some of their exciting news and of course, new music.
George Nicholas, who is a Trainer for our Arrangements, Mixing & Mastering and Create & Destroy courses, has been hard at it with his band Seekae of late. The trio have been putting the finishing touches on their third album, which will be released via mainstay Future Classic. Ahead of the new album, which was recorded earlier in the year across Sydney, London and Berlin, Seekae have just released its first single, Another, to a deservedly adoring response. George and the boys are on currently on tour around Australia to celebrate the release of the single, with the Sydney leg at FBi Radio’s 10th birthday bash at Carriageworks on the weekend just past, alongside other local heavyweights like The Presets and Hermitude. The video for the single is being premiered soon, and we’ve heard great things, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted. You can listen to the single below which should satisfy you until the album drops!
George has also been busy with his Cliques project, supporting bass music don Pangaea and putting together a remix for the also Liveschool affiliated Alba, which you can read more about below.

A recent addition to the Liveschool family, Elizabeth Rose is a rapidly rising singer/songwriter of textural and glistening pop music, and we’ve been lucky enough to get her in as a Trainer in recent Music Theory and Arrangements modules. Elizabeth has just released lead single The Good Life off of her forthcoming EP, and it’s a slice of pop perfection. Elizabeth will be flying off to New York in November to play at the coveted CMJ Festival, but if you’re in Sydney, you can catch her killer live set on September 21st at OutsideIn festival alongside a whole bunch of forward thinking local and international acts. Thomas McAlister is the latest recruit to the Liveschool Trainer roster, most recently leading the Sound Design & Synthesis module. Thomas’ main project, electronic duo Alba, have just released their latest EP on the Astral People/Future Classic affiliated Plastic World imprint. The Knokke EP, which is being released both digitally and on vinyl comes paired with remixes from some of Detroits finest – Jimmy Edgar and Rick Wade, and included in the digital release is a remix from George Nicholas’ Cliques project. Alba will be touring Australia wide in October/November to celebrate the release. Listen to the EP below.
