With an EP slated for release later this year, Liveschool graduate Sam Litchfield aka. Litche has given us a taste of what’s to come with the release of his atmospheric new cut ‘Voyage’. The tune features vocals from rising producer and songwriter Woodes, a perfect match for Litche’s style of expansive electronica.
Litche said the initial ideas for the track came together quickly, “after about an hour Elle [Woodes] had worked out the vocal melody and we also recorded tonnes of atmospheric vocal bits that we layered together and messed around with. Before long we knew something special was forming”.
Litche remixed Woodes’ tune ‘Rise’ late last year, which led the two songwriters to work together on an original track. Let’s hope this isn’t the last time that we hear from this dreamy collaboration.
