Liveschool graduate Mookhi has delivered a beautiful remix of Byron Bay band Tora and their single ‘Wouldn’t Be The Same’ ft. Keelan Mak.
After completing her course at Liveschool, Mookhi has gone on to win a spot to play at 2017’s Listen Out Festival through Triple J unearthed and has since performed at The Great Escape (UK) 2018, BIGSOUND (2018) as well as remixed Winston Surfshirt’s classic Free For You.
Mookhi’s remix of Tora is a mix of brooding soulful ideas combining pitched down vocals and a dark and crunchy percussive rhythm that surfs from ear to ear.
