Detroit DJ and producer Mike Huckaby has not only had a illustrious career as an artist, he’s also globally renown for his tireless enthusiasm in sharing his knowledge and wisdom with others. This has led to him presenting numerous workshops not only in his hometown of Detroit, but also worldwide – often in conjunction with Native Instruments and Ableton respectively.
In late 2014 Mike Huckaby graced our shores and we were lucky enough to have him present at our November INPUT event.
In this video excerpt Mike takes questions from the audience on his mixdown process, revealing some simple but significant rules of mixing dance music designed for a club environment.
