For a very limited time the lower floor of Liveschool has been transformed into “The Record Dungeon” – a pop up record store selling stacks of black wax from the overflowing collections of two of Sydney’s most notorious selectors – Barney (aka Kato of FBi Sunsets) and Angus Gruzman (aka Gus Da Hoodrat, Bang Gang DJs, DREEMS).

In their own words:

“Through the ages of time man has been moved by music, setting his mind and body free whirling in a soup of manic contortions and fluid freak-outs. Now we dare you to be become part of history by stepping into the depths of our dank basement, full to the brim with pieces of music pressed onto slabs of plastic, carried across the great seas and into your loving arms”

Techno, House Musak, Ambience, Radiance, Fonk, Soul-Glo , Rave-beat, Break-beat, no-beat, new-beat, broken-beat, Psy-trancelations, Baile Folklore, More Baltimore (than you can poke a stick at), Straight, Bent, Trance-Gender, Bi-core, Tri-Core, Quad-core Futurism and lots of other really popular undiscovered music and things.”

As well as vinyl, there’s also a special range of printed t-shirts and limited clothing items available in store.

Keep your eyes peeled on their facebook event page for regular updates on record deliveries and stock updates.
