This edition of our quarterly music production conference will be a one-off Drum Production Masterclass, featuring expert techniques from a specially-selected lineup of drum-focused producers, spanning Sound Designers, Beat Makers, Ghost Producers, Session Drummers, Ableton Certified Trainers, Classically-trained Percussionists and Mix Engineers.
A full Saturday afternoon of tutorial presentations, instructive performances, ideas, tips, tricks and Q&A’s covering drum production methods for making beats that move people: impactful drum sounds, release-ready mixing, pattern analysis & rhythm techniques – all explained using Ableton Live and Push.
The all-star lineup of presenters includes techno-legend Francis Xavier (Motorik/Infusion), professional drummer and future-step producer Dizz1 (whose recent collaborations include Roots Manuva & Aloe Blacc), disco/house producer Yama Indra (aka Gloves), The Only’s “Naderi“ (mentor to Flume and Emoh Instead), classically-trained session drummer Joel Farland (Van She/Miami Horror), sound designer and percussionist Josh Hogan and Ableton’s Adam Maggs.
